June 2002, Thierry Sartorius comes up with the concept of an « automatic water Switch-breaker » which cuts off the water supply automatically when a leak is detected. He launches the development of a prototype integrating all the functions of the device.
In 2003, Clip-Flow receives an award from the French Ministry of Research for the development of Innovating Technology companies.
Beginning of 2004, several industrial companies are interested in the project and bring their technical and financial support. A new company is created : Hydrelis is responsible for the industrial development and the production of the device.
July 2004, Clip-Flow receives a further National award for Innovation and Creation.
From 2005, pre-production devices are manufactured. They are installed for validation with large customers and private individuals. Thus the product's operational functions are fully optimised in various environment in order to guarantee its reliability over long periods and user long term satisfaction.
In 2006, Hydrelis invests in 2 new production lines including fully automated state of the art testing and quality control equipment.
Beginning of 2007, Industrial production begins. Sales develop both in France and abroad (Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Italy, Brazil).
End of 2007, Hydrelis obtains ACS National accreditation.
October 2008, Clip-Flow and Check-Flow are qualified for the British Water Technology List enabling enhanced capital allowances (ECA)
The ECA scheme is a tax incentive that permits the full cost of the investment in specified technologies to be relieved for tax purposes against taxable income of the period of the investment.
November 2008, Hydrelis applies for professional WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) accreditation in the United Kingdom.
